As visitors move among the striking, life-size sculptures, they are immersed in an artistic celebration of the strength, individuality and perseverance of the legendary figures featured here. Exquisitely detailed and complex, this project required seamless collaboration between Cite Design, builders, architects, and an expansive team of craftsmen in order to bring this visionary memorial to life.

Each element of the experience features custom, highly detailed work and planning: from the ellipse-shaped plaza and the curved, tempered glass wall inscribed with women’s names, to the hand-crafted bronze railings featuring Virginia Creeper patterns, and the shining sundial mounted on a stone pedestal.

Cite Design prioritized inclusivity throughout planning and construction, which included strategically shifting the original location to minimize sitework and ensure ADA access for all. The result of this thoughtful, collaborative initiative is an awe-inspiring monument that reflects and pays homage to the diverse and vital contributions of the women it celebrates.
