Located on the site of the old Armstrong High School, Church Hill North is the first phase of the revitalization vision for Creighton Court. The revitalization project will serve as a catalyst for the new East End Gateway to the City, eventually including new housing on the Creighton Court property, as well as new commercial and community development along Nine Mile Road.

Church Hill North provides 300 units of mixed-income housing and community amenities on the 20+ acre site, connecting with the existing street grid to create a walkable community with plenty of outdoor gathering spaces.

To better serve the community residents, the open space is distributed throughout the site: a large linear central park, a park around the neighborhood center, and a pocket park to the south. All of the parks contain play equipment, seating options, and lawn areas for free recreation. Because of the significance Armstrong High held for many in the community, a memorial plaza is located adjacent to the neighborhood center. Incorporating community feedback, the plaza features preserved architectural elements and informational signage about the school, while providing a formal community gathering place. The neighborhood center grounds include a patio with outdoor seating for residents, a playground, and a large multi-purpose lawn, which incorporates memorial trees for Armstrong High School.
